This case study focuses on my contributions as a product designer (primarily during the research, ideation, and experimentation phases) of taking Nimble Connect to market.

Slow, impersonal hiring isn't working.

Teachers and principals are frustrated. Legacy HR platforms dominate, but they don't solve the root problem: matching the right teachers to the right schools.
Solution

Build a data-powered matchmaking platform.

Connect teachers with principals based on unique needs and fit. Streamline the hiring process with seamless integration to existing ATS.
Challenges

Hitting the hiring window

Getting to market before peak hiring season was essential and required strategic sprints, intentional communication, and thoughtful tradeoffs.

Optimizing for both sides

We designed two distinct experiences to optimize for sometimes-conflicting teacher and principal preferences.

Overcoming budgetary hurdles

Nimble Connect, a novel solution, didn't fit existing budgets. Some principals would need to advocate for its value to secure district controlled funds.
